The 18th century Baglio Oneto is situated on a hill on the outskirts of Marsala (10km) enjoying superb views over the surrounding countryside towards the Egadi Islands. Dedicated to the production of the famous, sweet Marsala and a variety of red and white wines, this 15000sqm estate, was transformed into a charming 4-star hotel in 2004, and today offers accommodation of a good standard. The original wine cellar, surrounded by parkland, most of which is devoted to vineyards and olive groves, is home to 48 guest rooms and public areas whilst, within the well-maintained gardens an outdoor swimming pool awaits.
